Bio:
I've lived in Colorado for most of my life and in Erie since 2016 with my husband and three children. We cherish the small-town atmosphere and the easy access to outdoor activities like hiking, paddle boarding, and fishing.
Most of my adult life has been spent teaching yoga, meditation, and early childhood education. Now, I'm embarking on a new adventure as a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. My approach to mental health is profoundly relational and attachment-based, drawing heavily from Interpersonal Neurobiology.
With a person-centered focus, I guide clients in recognizing and amplifying their strengths to reach their goals. I blend mindfulness, neuroscience, and solution-focused techniques to empower individuals to thrive amidst life's challenges.
My practice extends to families, children, and individuals navigating grief, trauma, and the impact of substance use on family systems. My aim is not just to help people survive difficult circumstances but to thrive and evolve. I provide a safe space for complex emotions to surface, offering support as we identify strengths and create actionable plans. When working with children, I adapt my methods to suit their developmental needs, incorporating play, art, and movement into our sessions.
Supporting individuals and families on their journey toward improved well-being is an honor.
